Job Description

National Reactor Innovation Center (NRIC) Department Manager Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a National Reactor Innovation Center (NRIC) Department Manager to work in our Demonstration Infrastructure and Support Partnership department.

Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Research Education Campus with every other Friday off. Manager of the Demonstration Infrastructure and Support / Demonstration Partnerships within National Reactor Innovation Center Division.

Responsibilities Include : Includes the following roles and responsibilities : Oversight, contribution to, and guidance of staff working in Demonstration Infrastructure and Support / Demonstration Partnerships areas.

Qualifications : Minimum Requirements :

  • B.S degree in Engineering or other related discipline augmented by experience in the nuclear industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience managing a technical team, 16 years total experience or an advanced degree and 12 years experience in areas related to systems engineering (including requirements, configuration, and document management verification and validation and tools) and program management, safety programs management, construction, inspection, maintenance, electrical systems, controls, and fuels systems
  • Proven success in managing complex projects / programs.
  • Must be able to work in a culturally diverse environment.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

Job Information :

  • The tar get pay range for this position is ($123,735 - $185,631). The full pay range is $103,032 - $262,740. At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
  • You are required to show a demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment.
  • TDP : This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.
  • Multi-Level : This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skills.
