We are looking for a Materials Coordinator to join our Supply Chain and Continuous Improvement team!
Estimated Salary : $26.00 to $31.00 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, and responsibilities.
What you will do :
- Inventory management, production part stock inventory, and replenishment
- Review production parts stock levels and maintain minimum and maximum
- Align replenishment quantity with demand
- Coordinate with the production planner and production manager on material requirements for planned production
- Communicate any production parts shortages / discrepancies to parts supervisor
- Report backorders to production planner, production manager, and supervisors
- Actively manage backorders with parts partners
- Actively track and report ongoing issues
- Process special orders from request to arrival of parts
- Responsible for communicating interdepartmental stocking fill rates
- Analyze optimal stocking level based on vendor lead time and part consumption
- Manage special projects or tasks as instructed by lead(s), supervisor(s), and manager(s)
What we are looking for :
- Two plus years of manufacturing / production experience (or equivalent)
- Comfortable with Enterprise Resource Planning programs and tools
- Strong command of English language and good communication skills - (Spanish a plus)
- Strict attention to detail and an eye for continuous improvement
- Comfortable making decisions and multitasking
- Strong problem solving and decision making abilities
