Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and highlyskilled Senior Security Architect to join our team. The idealcandidate will possess a deep understanding of security principlesand practices extensive experience in IT architecture and theability to develop and implement comprehensive security solutions.
This role requires a proactive individual who can anticipatesecurity challenges and design strategies to mitigate riskseffectively while also providing leadership and mentorship tojunior team members.
Responsibilities :
- Design andImplementation : Develop and implement advancedsecurity architectures for various IT projects. Ensure thatsecurity is integrated into all stages of system development anddeployment.
- RiskAssessment : Conduct regular security assessmentsincluding vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.Identify potential security risks and recommend mitigationstrategies.
- PolicyDevelopment : Create review and update securitypolicies standards and guidelines to ensure compliance withindustry standards andregulations.
- IncidentResponse : Lead the response to major securityincidents conduct thorough investigations and implement correctiveactions to prevent futureincidents.
- Collaboration : Work closely with IT development and business teams to ensuresecurity measures are in place and adhered to.
Provide securityguidance and support for new projects andtechnologies.
- Training andAwareness : Develop and deliver advanced securitytraining and awareness programs for employees to promote a cultureof security within theorganization.
- TechnologyEvaluation : Stay up to date with the latest securitytechnologies and trends. Evaluate and recommend new security toolsandtechnologies.
- Compliance : Ensure compliance with relevant laws regulations and industrystandards such as GDPR HIPAA andPCIDSS.
- Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of security architecturespolicies procedures and incidentreports.
- Leadership andMentorship : Provide leadership and mentorship tojunior security team members. Foster a collaborative and innovativeteam environment.
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science InformationTechnology Cybersecurity or a relatedfield.
- Experience :
- Minimumof 710 years of experience in cybersecurity or a relatedfield.
- Proven experience in designing andimplementing complex securityarchitectures.
- Extensive experience with riskassessment andmanagement.
- Certifications : Relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM CEH or SANS GIAC arehighly desirable.
Skills :
- Strong knowledge of security protocolscryptography authentication andauthorization.
- Familiarity with regulatoryrequirements and industry standards.
- Extensiveexperience with security tools and technologies such as firewallsIDS / IPS SIEM and endpoint protection.
- Excellentproblemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strongcommunication and interpersonalskills.
- Leadership and mentorshipabilities.
PreferredQualifications :
- Experience with cloud security architectures(AWS Azure GCP).
- Familiarity with DevSecOpspractices and tools.
- Knowledge of programmingand scripting languages (e.g. PythonPowerShell).
- Experience in a leadership ormentoring role within a securityteam.
