About the Company
Our client company is one of the most famous manufacturers of outdoor equipment, with a well-known brand dating back over 50 years.
With locations around the world and several major projects underway, they are growing their internal IT team at record-breaking speed.
They are seeking a Sr. Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer (SFCC) with hands-on development experience and experience working with an ever-expanding project roadmap.
This resource will partner with technical managers, business analysts, business users, developers, and outside vendors alike to design, develop, and support a highly interactive Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.
Position Summary
- Under general direction, write Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) code for projects and support that adheres to industry best practices.
- Work closely with the business and IT teams to design, deploy, test, and support SFCC solutions as company expands and enhances functionality Globally.
- Develop templates and content slots using ISML, Javascript / Jquery, HTML, XML, CSS / SASS, AJAX, and integrate with Pipelines / Controllers on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware).
- Must have experience working with Core Javascript
- Work with Development teams to ensure technical requirements, design is understood, best practices are followed for functionality, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with other team members in an agile development process, spanning front end, back end, QA, and product management.
- Plan for a continuous integration development model CI / CD
Minimum Experience
- Experience working with (SQL Server, MySQL) SQL skills to look up related data elements in related subsystems.
- Exposure to basic project management methodologies; experience leading small projects preferred. Agile Scrum ideal but not required.
- Experience integrating with third-party applications.
- Experience with SFRA is a bonus.
