Analyst/Risk/Support: GA/TX/Pennington

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX, Pennington, NJ, and Atlanta, GA.

This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in the execution of internal control discipline and operational excellence for a Technology Organization
• Execute specific processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards
• Support QA / QC processes within the tech org through ongoing monitoring and assessment of controls
• Act as an ambassador of the risk culture
• Support technology teams in remediating, identifying, debating, and documenting risks and remediation plans
• Support technology teams in the delivery and validation of requested artifacts
• Support technology teams in setting up sustainable routines and tracking solutions
• Partner with the Technology Managers and their teams to ensure sustainability routines are performed in accordance with defined processes
• Support Technology Management in audit and exam activities
• Assist in risk issue management activities and escalations
• Maintain effective and professional relationships with key business stakeholders and risk partners
• Oversee execution of Risk Assessments.

Requirements :

• 5+ years of risk management and LOB / ECF experience
• Excellent MS-Office skills including PowerPoint (for presentations), Excel (for manipulating large amounts of data) and Word
• Experience in the identification, documentation, debate, and escalation of risk

Desired skills :

• CISA, CRISC, CISM or CISSP
• Solid understanding of a risk control framework (i.e., inherent risks, control procedures, residual risk, etc.)
• Strong ability to analyze metrics and data to identify thematic issues / areas requiring improvement
• Understanding of Global Records Management, Business Continuity and Recovery, Information Security, Application Management, and Change Management programs, principles and application in a technology setting
• Understanding of the business controls and compliance functions and the partnership required to be effective

Pay Range : $38.44 - $46.44
