We are seeking a motivated and talented Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our clients.

Job Summary :

As an Associate Attorney in our Web3 practice, you will work closely with senior attorneys and clients to navigate the complex legal landscape of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, decentralized finance (DeFi), and related fields.

You will provide legal support on a wide range of matters, including regulatory compliance, corporate formation, governance, and fundraising, intellectual property, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of technology and law, learn from experienced attorneys in the crypto space, and directly interface with clients, with significant opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities :

• Counsel clients and prepare associated documentation with corporate formation, governance, and fundraising.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on regulatory issues related to blockchain and cryptocurrency.
• Assist in the preparation, review and negotiation of contracts between variety of different players in the crypto space.
• Provide product counseling to clients, and prepare terms of service, privacy policies, and other documentation.
• Advise clients on compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including securities laws, AML / KYC requirements, and data protection laws.
• Support senior attorneys in representing clients in negotiations, disputes, and litigation matters.
• Monitor developments in web3, blockchain technology, and related legal and regulatory environments to keep clients informed of potential impacts on their operations.
• Participate in client meetings, providing clear and concise legal advice tailored to the client's needs and objectives.
• Contribute to the development of internal knowledge resources and thought leadership materials.

Qualifications :

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
• 1-3 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, with a focus on at least one of corporate, securities, intellectual property, or technology law, and a willingness to take on tasks and learn areas where the candidate has less experience.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and decentralized finance is strongly preferred.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
