Optometrist (1 Visit Monthly)

The MedServ Group is a rapidly growing company which provides residents in healthcare settings such as nursing / rehab facilities with top-of-the-line care.
We are currently searching for a talented Optometrist to join our team! You will use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide high-quality vision care to our patients.
The ideal optometry candidate is committed to delivering quality patient care to the senior population.
Optometrist Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams.
- Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease.
- Prescribe corrective lenses or eye medications as needed.
- Provide pre and post-operative care to surgical patients.
- Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients.
Optometrist Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and active state license.
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics.
- Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
Compensation and Benefits
We reward our optometrists with competitive rates (commensurate with experience) as well as the following :
- 22-25 patients per visit, preventative care.
- Extremely flexible scheduling
- Percentage Pay Option : 35% - 40% of collections (around $1050 - $1200 per visit for 25 patients)
- Per patient Option : $40-$45 per patient (22-25 patients per visit)
- Average day : 6-7 hours visiting patients plus paperwork.

- Clinical support
- All doctors are 1099 (independent contractors)
