Situated in the heart of Brooklyn, we are known for our unwavering commitment to outstanding pediatric care. Our team of dedicated professionals work collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for our young patients.

We are seeking a Full-Time Admitting Clerk to support our growing Pediatric Specialty practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be a team player, and demonstrate pride in their work.

This role includes scheduling, registration and insurance authorizations, among other tasks. Healthcare experience is required to ensure effective performance in these areas.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Greet and assist patients and their families with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Maintain and update patient information in electronic medical systems.
  • Contact insurance carriers to verify information and obtain necessary clearance / authorizations.
  • Coordinate with medical and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Handle inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to enhance patient experience.

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Healthcare experience is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule between 8am and 7pm, Monday to Friday.
