Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will provide assistance to lawyers and paralegals, ensuring they are able to carry out their duties.
You will conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and compile case materials. The ideal candidate is hardworking and detail oriented.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is great at customer service.
Responsibilities
- Taking care of in person clients, helping them with forms and any need they might have.
- Ensure that case-related documents are well organized and available for review.
- Scanning, copying, mailing, Filing.
- In person client collection and receipt creation.
- Translating / Interpretation for Attorneys.
- Maintain and update documentation.
- Take care of the office appearance.
- Covering phones when receptionist is not available.
Qualifications
- Customer Service Experience
- Previous experience as a Clerk or in a similar position is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent Spanish is a MUST
- Highly organized with document management experience
- Excellent research skills
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
