Key responsibilities of the Staff Accountant :

Develops and posts entries to the general ledger.

Performs timely analysis of month end journal entries, such as prepaid expenses, depreciation, and AP and AR accruals.

The staff accountant will prepare the monthly bank reconciliations.

Coordinates and prepares sales tax reports for multiple states.

Researches and resolves issues relating to financial statement analysis.

Reconciles general ledger accounts and performs account analysis monthly.

Communicates with staff and management to achieve resolution of accounting related issues.

The staff accountant will work closely with other accounting staff members to meet department goals.

Preferred Qualifications of the Staff Accountant :

Bachelors Degree in Accounting

Non profit experience is a plus!

Proficient in MS Excel

Target compensation : $30-$40 / hr
