Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will document the company’s financial transactions, prepare financial statements, manage payroll, manage project accounting.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.
Must have experience with creating and managing WIP.
Responsibilities
- Enter financial data and transactions
- Analyze budgets and other financial information
- Reconcile bank statements
- Prepare financial reports and statements
- Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Responsible for all Construction Project Accounting
- Create accounting policies to comply with all rules and regulations
- Process payroll, desktop deposits
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Highly skilled with spreadsheets, pivot tables, experienced in Microsoft Excel, Great Plains, and accounting systems
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
