Schedule :
- Varied schedule based on available freight.
- Average 50-60 hours per week; can include weekends.
Location :
Based out of St. Michael, MN with deliveries across the continental United States.
Essential Functions :
- Deliver product in a safe and professional manner within a timeframe designated by customer demands.
- Establish paper trail for each delivery and complete all appropriate D.O.T. and related paperwork.
- Keep vehicles clean.
- Communicate with our mechanics on any problems experienced with vehicles.
- Physically complete all DOT required vehicle inspections and paperwork in order to stay in compliance with all DOT regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Requires Class A, Commercial Drivers License.
- Requires DOT Medical Certification.
- Must be willing to work variable hours and days including overtime.
Physical and Environmental Factors :
- Safety Awareness - Follow all safety laws, policies, and procedures. Immediately report safety concerns to supervisor. Attend, and successfully complete, when applicable, all required safety training.
- Quality Awareness - Comply with the requirements of the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), and Food Safety and Quality Food Programs (SQF).
- Requires ability to lift 60 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 150 lbs.
- Requires ability to control a two wheeler down a ramp on a trailer.
- A lift assessment, DOT physical, and drug screen are required of all truck drivers.
- Subject to outside weather conditions.
