Experienced Trust and Estates Associate
Our client, a highly respected law firm, is seeking a Trust and Estates Associate with a minimum of three years of experience to join their team in Burlingame, CA.
Responsibilities :
Primary areas of responsibility include estate and tax planning for high net worth individuals, estate administration, income tax, transfer tax and charitable planning, business succession planning, and working with pass-through entities like LLCs and LPs.
Qualifications :
- 3+ years of experience in complex estate, tax, and wealth planning
- Knowledge of real property and transactional practice, along with superior communication, drafting, research, and analytical skills
- Must have an understanding of Federal and California tax law
- While previous client base is not a requirement, the firm encourages business development and a path to partnership
- JD from an accredited university
- Membership in the state bar for the market where you are applying, or the ability to become barred in that state
