As a Licensed Clinician, you will provide Group Therapy, Discharge Planning, Treatment Planning, Psychosocial / Social Assessments, and Individual / Family Therapy.
You'll be responsible for case management, care coordination, and ensuring compliance with external agencies. Collaboration with individuals, families, and discharge resources is key.
Requirements :
- Master’s Degree Required
- Current Nevada State Clinical Licensure (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT required ) OR
- therapist-intern (CSW-I, MFT-I, CPC-I)
Skills :
- Minimum 1 year of behavioral health experience
- Inpatient clinical work experience with diagnosis, psychotherapy, and assessment-based treatment planning
- Knowledge of psychopathology and therapeutic techniques
- Familiarity with psychotropic medications and cultural sensitivity
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and work within a multidisciplinary team
Additional Requirements :
- CPR certification for healthcare professionals
- Annual professional skills verification
- CPI certification
Population Served :
Child (1-12 years), Adolescent (13-17 years), Adult (18-64 years), Geriatric (65 years+)
Responsibilities :
- Provide individual therapy, crisis intervention, and communicate effectively with families.
- Conduct psychosocial assessments, develop care plans, and participate in weekly treatment team meetings.
- Ensure timely completion of progress notes, discharge plans, and reports for suspected abuse.
- Create a therapeutic milieu, adhere to program schedules, and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Handle medical records with sensitivity, ensuring legibility, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Work in an indoor climate-controlled environment with exposure to patients with psychiatric diagnoses.
- Regularly engage in sitting, stooping, standing, walking, and lifting / carrying materials up to 35 lbs.
- Acknowledge the 24 / 7 work schedule and willingness to work holidays and weekends if required .
