$80k - $90k Depending on experience
Position Overview :
The Payroll Manager will be responsible for day-to-day payroll operations for the employees across the organization using technologies for both pay and time while maintaining compliance with wage and hour regulatory reporting requirements.
You will be responsible for processing the weekly and monthly payrolls for the company as Payroll Manager.
Responsibilities of the Payroll Manager :
- Review, verify, and process payroll.
- Review payroll reports from external payroll processing service.
- Prepare payroll checks as the Payroll Manager.
- Submit 401k data and reconcile weekly withholding adjustments.
- Reconcile paycheck discrepancies.
- Assist with Benefit Request Forms (BRF), Leaves of Absence (LOA), new hires, and terminations.
- Maintain and file all weekly / monthly payroll documentation.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations of payroll accounts.
- Administer the year-end production and distribution of Forms W-2 as the Payroll Manager.
Qualifications for the Payroll Manager :
- 5+ years of prior experience in a corporate payroll position.
- Professional Certification CPP is preferred for the Payroll Manager.
- Must have advanced experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Access, and Word.
Education Requirements :
Associate's degree is preferred.
