Leadpoint Business Services seeks an Receiving Clerk to join our team in Hebron, OH . As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory items, ensuring proper stock levels, and assisting in inventory management.
Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will contribute to the efficient operation of our inventory department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE RECEIVING CLERK
- Inventory Control :
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory items.
- Monitor and track stock levels to prevent overstock or stock outs.
- Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
- Receiving and Shipping :
- Receive incoming shipments, verify their contents, and update inventory records accordingly.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in product quantities and quality.
- Data Entry :
- Enter inventory data into the company’s database or inventory management software.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, usage, and trends.
- Organization and Storage :
- Organize and label inventory items for easy access.
- Ensure that inventory is stored safely and securely to prevent damage or theft.
- Collaboration :
- Work closely with the purchasing department to coordinate restocking activities.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve inventory management processes.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE RECEIVING CLERK
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous experience in inventory control or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or tools.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy inventory items when necessary.
