Daydreamer is hiring a Designer for Apparel
Responsibilities
- Design of our collection including cut-n-sew, garment dye knits, tees, fleece, pants, graphic tees and solid fashion basics
- Trend research
- Design direction seasonally and for projects
- Product Development
- Sourcing fabrics, washes, trims
- Maintain relationships with vendors and find new ones when necessary
- Extensive knowledge of garment dye, graphic tees
- Design new silhouettes
- Manage Patternmaker and sample room
- Color palette development, lab dips, corrections, ink colors
- Maintain strict deadlines
- Communicate effectively
- Merchandising
- Cads and presentations
Qualifications
- 5 years experience minimum in knits design
- Adobe creative suite proficiency
- Ability to see the development of a product through from concept to completion
- Extensive knowledge of domestically apparel costing and production methods
- Experience in graphic tees is a must
