Job Title : Community Association Attorney
We are an executive search firm retained by an established and well-respected boutique law firm based in Palm Beach County to assist in their search for a talented Community Association Attorney.
This firm has built a strong reputation for providing top-tier legal services in the areas of real estate and community association law, and they are seeking a skilled attorney to join their team.
This is an on-site position only.
Qualifications :
- Active license to practice law in Florida, in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in community association law
- Strong expertise in interpreting governing documents, providing governance advice, preparing amendments, and addressing fair housing issues
- In-depth knowledge of community association law, real estate law, and related fields
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines effectively
- Experience in delivering specialized training to board directors, committees, and managers
Responsibilities :
- Handle complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, purchases, financing, and leasing
- Assist in forming, registering, governing, and ensuring compliance for residential, commercial, and mixed-use condominium associations
- Provide expert guidance on community association law, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and successful project completions
- Represent developers, lenders, landlords, and community associations in a variety of legal matters
- Review, analyze, negotiate, and draft legal documents, including agreements, deeds, loan documents, leases, declarations, and covenants
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of transactions, ensuring timely closings and project milestones are met
- Provide guidance on interpreting governing documents, governance issues, and fair housing compliance
- Conduct training sessions for boards of directors, committees, and community managers
- Participate actively in community association and industry organizations
- Contribute articles to industry publications and engage in relevant chapter events
Requirements :
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active Florida Bar license
- Strong knowledge and experience in community association law and real estate
