Full Stack Developer - Junior and Journeyman

Parsons is looking for amazingly talented Junior and Journeyman level Full Stack Developers to join our team! In this role you will get to provide software development for existing capability while improving usability of the software and provide containerized software services for many of the existing data source connections supporting Defensive Cyber Operations.

What You'll Be Doing :

• Participating in SAFe® Agile Software Development teams bringing new capabilities and automation throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), in a SAFe® construct.
• Providing our customers expertise to leverage their existing software and create new capabilities within a DevSecOps software factory
• Strong ability to produce and maintain varied technical documentation
• 100% onsite is required in Colorado Springs, CO

What Required Skills You'll Bring :

• Junior - Must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or other relevant Engineering field from an accredited university with to 1-3 years of experience this includes 1 year of coding experience in a business environment (Highly preferred)
• Journeyman - Must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or other relevant Engineering field from an accredited university with minimum 3-10 years of experience includes at least 2 years of coding experience in a business environment (Highly preferred)
• Ability to obtain and hold a Secret clearance
• Knowledge of the following areas : Apache Spark, Kubernetes, Kafka, SIMP Project, Ansible, Docker, GIT, Linux, Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL, Terraform, Artifactory, and GitLab
• Knowledge of AWS cloud and deployment methodologies
• Familiar with multiple programming languages such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, and Angular
• Familiar with Docker and / or Kubernetes

What Desired Skills You'll Bring :

• Top Secret OR interim / active Secret with ability to get Top Secret
• DoD 8140.03 Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CYSA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), etc.
• Familiarity with Defensive Cyber Operations Concepts

Salary Range :
