Job Summary
The Student Assistant will support Blue Tie Catering as a Food Service Associate on the Armstrong Campus beginning Fall 2024 .
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service
- Prepares fresh food items
- Daily / weekly cleaning to include sweeping & mopping etc.
- Assist with putting away and counting inventory
- Operate kitchen equipment including but not limited to oven, dish machine, coffee machine etc.
- Event preparation and execution
- Empty trash and take out recyclables
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Operate under the first in, first out (FIFO) rules with all product
- Have exceptional personal hygiene
Shift Specifics
- Up to 25 hours per week
- Flexible with schedule of availability
- Shifts schedule varies based on demand
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University
Proposed Salary
$10.00 per hour
