TruckPro is seeking a Apprentice Diesel Mechanic - Driveline Technician (Hybrid Role) who will be responsible for general repairs for heavy duty trucks and rebuilding drivelines and grinding flywheels.

Apprentice Diesel Mechanic - Driveline Technician (Hybrid Role) Include :
- Perform repairs to diesel truck and trailers
- Perform basic welding functions
- Inform customer / manager of completion times, services expenses, and possible changes
- Monitor the profit / loss of each job to maximize profitability while maintaining the highest standards of quality; minimize warranty claims and re-work
- Assemble and disassemble drivelines; wash parts, inspect parts and discard all damaged parts
- Take micrometer measurement of flywheels; set grinder and regrind flywheel to specifications
- Prepare list of required replacement parts on work order; Pull new parts from inventory
- Paint and label parts; Reassemble, time and balance if required
- Clean work area as required and maintain equipment; Adhering to all environmental, health and safety standards
Apprentice Diesel Mechanic - Driveline Technician (Hybrid Role) Candidates Will Have :
- In lieu of one year of Mechanic and Driveline Technician experience within the heavy duty industry, ability to perform as apprentice (on the job training with experienced technicians)
- Valid driver's license and / or CDL with good driving record
Hourly Pay Rate is based on relevant experience :
$20 - $24
