We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Account Manager to join our National Sales team.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing special order sales through our plants and the Pro Fulfilment Centers operated by our big box customers.
This position will be focused on servicing the Pro customer across the U.S but will concentrate heavily in the Southeastern region.
The person in this role will report to the National Sales Manager and will work with them and other sales account managers within the company to oversee the execution of market strategy that complements the overall strategic operating and growth plans.
Responsibilities :
- Driving sales, profitability, and growth with big box customers through the PFC and special-order sales channel
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborating within the team to develop and deliver customized solutions
- Acting as a point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
- Providing strategic insights and recommendations based on industry trends, pricing, and market conditions
- Suggesting actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
- Providing category management for products stocked within customers distribution channels
- Reporting on the status of accounts and transactions
- Setting and tracking sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
- Monitoring sales metrics
- Participating in customer focused events to increase customer knowledge and awareness of product offerings
Desired skills & experience :
- Proven work experience as a Sales account manager
- Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver an excellent customer experience
- Knowledge of MSR and MS Office
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, customer service oriented
- An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on-time
- Business acumen with a problem solving attitude
- Preferred experience and knowledge of UFP’s organization, culture, and product lines
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years sales and account management experience
Can be based out of any UFP facility in FL or GA.
Travel required
