Project Manager PMO Supporting Treasury and Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB)
This position is for a Senior Project Manager (PM3) to assist the State of Michigan Project Management Office supporting Department of Treasury and Michigan Gaming Control Board with a multi-year high priority project.
This role, as part of the DTMB Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO), works closely with DTMB Agency Services technical teams as well as with agency executives / stakeholders in the delivery of TREAS APPS PCI Compliance Project for 2024 2025 in work related to the following controls : secure network, account management, incident response planning and completion of SAQ-A.
This senior PM will also work in the delivery of PCI Compliance Projects for 2024 2025 iterative process to ensure that State of Michigan (SOM) has implemented policies, procedures, and secure system configurations in accordance with the PCI-DSS requirements which are designed to protect cardholder data.
This project covers the project management efforts and high-level technical guidance efforts for the Enterprise level technical compliance.

- In-depth knowledge of and experience in IT project management, including industry standard and best practices. Required 4+ years
- Proven record for delivering projects on time and on budget in a formal project manager role Required 3+ years
- Experience establishing and maintaining project budgets, schedules, change requests, risk and issue logs Required 3+ years
- Experience developing and delivering project status Required 3+ years
- Experience using a project portfolio management systems and tools (e.g.) Clarity Required 1 years
- Good working knowledge of MSProject Required 2 years
Requirements
Education - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Experience Proven experience (5+ years) as a Senior Database Administrator, with a focus on Data Warehouse and Data Lake environments Technical Skills In-depth knowledge of database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Hands-on experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and related ecosystems (e.g., Hive, HBase, Kafka). - Proficiency in SQL programming and scripting languages (e.
g., Python, Shell) for automation and data manipulation tasks. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
- Industry certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or Cloudera Certified Professional (CCP) are a plus.
