Job Description
Tebo Dental , an Atlanta-based dental group, is looking for a motivated and ambitious professional to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have exceptional attention-to-detail and will be intelligent, organized, dependable, driven, forward-thinking, and ready to take their career to the next level with a growing company.
Responsibilities :
- Submit electronic and manual claims for all practices
- Create and update various reports
- Check the status of insurance claims and follow up about any discrepancies
- Enter detailed notes in the patients’ office journals
- Submit pre-authorizations
- Ensure payments are entered correctly into patient accounts
- Coordinate the refund of patient accounts upon receipt of insurance EOBs
- Call to collect on outstanding patient balances
- Work on aging reports each week to review during team meetings
Qualifications :
- Knowledge of dental and insurance billing codes, terminology, Medicaid, and Dentrix is a plus
- Previous dental experience is a plus
- Exceptional attention-to-detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask
