Duties :
Create and maintain electrical drawings for new and currentmodels
Layout of electrical controlcabinets
Work with the engineering departmentto keep systems current with technology and electricalstandards
Write PLC programs for industrialequipment
Assist production with propertechniques for electrical control panel wiring and PLCprogramming
Assist with design and developmentof electrical software programs for new and upgrades of currentproducts
Work with customers service team andengineering team on solving technical problems andtraining
Some customer support travel required(10%); daily onsite
Qualifications :
Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering BS orequivalent experience preferred.
Five (5) yearsof experience with industrial controls and system integrations witha strong focus on PLC software programming.
OEMCircuit design
PLC programming software AllenBradley preferred Siemens a plus
Feedbackcontrol systems particularly sampled data acquisitionsystems
Servo design / development andtroubleshooting experience of advanced motion control systemsincluding multiaxis coordinated axis applications is aplus.
Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD MicrosoftOffice package (Word Excel Outlook).
Familiarity with an ERP System SAP a plus
Goodunderstanding of domestic & international electrical codes (NECNFPA79 IEC602041).
Authorized to work in the USand able to pass a background check.
Must beable to : sit and / or stand / walk for extended periods of time;navigate stairs and congested workspaces several times daily;
