Patient Transport / Housekeeping
Full time position
Arrowhead Behavioral Health is a private behavioral health treatment facility located just outside of Toledo in historic Maumee, Ohio.
We are dedicated to providing comprehensive psychiatric treatment and chemical dependency services to adults age 18 and older.
Located on eight lush acres in Arrowhead Park, our facility offers a private, confidential and non-institutional environment conducive to healing and recovery.
Arrowhead provides safe and timley transportion for our outpaitent services and discharging patients.
To make this a full time position hours between driving will be used in housekeeping. Housekeeping cleans the hospital, which includes patient rooms & baths, offices, halls, public restrooms, lobby, group rooms and other areas.
Sweep and mop floors, cleans walls, furniture, baseboards, countertops, bookshelves and other items within the hospital.
Removes all trash from trashcans and take the trash to the dumpster. Takes clean linens to the inpatient unit and stores them in the linen room.
Removes soiled linens and stores in soiled linen room for pick up. Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education / Experience :
Driver : High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year of driving experience with clean driving record.
Housekeeping : High school diploma or GED; or 5 years’ experience in housekeeping or custodian / janitorial services; previous experience as a hospital housekeeper preferred
License / Certification : Valid Ohio driver’s license and valid vehicle insurance

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic computer use along with spreadsheet software and Word software.
