We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Client Service Coordinator - Associate in the Investment Advisory industry, based in Columbia, MD.
The role primarily involves administrative support and client service coordination duties, and requires individuals with a strong customer orientation and an interest in finance.
Responsibilities :
- Offer administrative support to various departments, including answering phones, scheduling meetings and conferences, and sorting / distributing mail.
- Handle client-facing interactions, both in person and over the phone, fostering strong client relationships.
- Maintain attention to detail when managing financial record keeping tasks.
- Show a proactive approach to learn about finance and apply knowledge in daily tasks.
- Coordinate and lead special projects, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
- Perform ad hoc financial tasks as required, showcasing a strong understanding of finance.
- Maintain strong communication skills and utilize them in interactions with clients and team members.
- Execute typing and filing tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Show willingness and capability to work onsite.
- Utilize Microsoft Office for various tasks and show familiarity with its functions.
- Proficiency in answering inbound calls in a detail oriented manner
- Demonstrated ability in scheduling and coordinating meetings
- Solid understanding of finance and securities industry
- Strong phone presence and communication skills
- Experience in performing ad hoc financial tasks
- Proficiency in typing and filing tasks
- Capability to lead special projects and work onsite
- Track record of thorough record keeping
- Experience in coordinating and managing conference calls
- Ability to distribute incoming mail in a timely and organized manner
- Excellent organizational skills
- Prior administrative experience in an investment advisory or related industry.
