If so, we are seeking a Forklift Operator I, who will be responsible for prepping shipments, loading and unloading product, and support of general warehouse operations using warehouse equipment.

Key Accountabilities :

• Operate forklift, hand truck / warehouse carts, pallet jack, and / or other equipment in a professional and safe manner
• Organize and prepare customer orders with a high degree of quality and accuracy
• Transfer supplies from department to department to meet production or shipping demand
• Properly store and label all materials and finished product
• May prepare billing processes and paperwork for warehouse and drop ship orders
• May be required to record transactions via computer in ERP system
• Perform cycle counting as required
• Notify leadership of non-compliant ware
• Responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and organized to cGMP standards
• Comply with all ISO standards
• Support company and branch metrics
• Fulfill the employee portion of the Berlin Values
• Other tasks as required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :

• High school diploma or GED required strongly preferred
• Prior warehouse and forklift experience strongly preferred
• Required to take and pass the Company Forklift Certification program, which ensures you will be able to operate a forklift in accordance with Berlin Packaging's safety guidelines.

Failure to pass the exam results in the Company ending your employment.

Working Environment and Physical Requirements :

Must be able to frequently lift / move boxes weighing up to 20lbs and occasionally lift / move boxes and / or pallets up to 45lbs through warehouse.
