Job Description :

We are a dynamic and growing private lending company specializing in home construction financing. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Loan Closer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in loan closing, with a focus on private lending and home construction.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Closing Coordination : Coordinate the loan closing process, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Document Preparation : Prepare closing documents, including loan agreements, promissory notes, deeds of trust, and any other required legal documents.
  • Review and Verification : Review and verify all closing documents for accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
  • Compliance : Ensure all loan closings comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Communication : Communicate with borrowers, real estate agents, attorneys, title companies, and other stakeholders to facilitate a smooth closing process.
  • Funding : Coordinate the disbursement of loan funds, ensuring all conditions are met before funding.
  • Problem Resolution : Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the closing process, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of all closed loan files, ensuring they are properly documented and easily accessible.
  • Customer Service : Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and addressing any concerns from borrowers and other stakeholders.

Job Requirements :

  • Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in loan closing, with a focus on private lending and home construction financing.
  • Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge : Strong understanding of private lending practices, loan closing processes, and real estate transactions.
  • Attention to Detail : Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling loan documents.
  • Organizational Skills : Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to manage multiple loan closings simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with borrowers and other stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in loan origination systems, loan closing software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Team Player : Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, providing support as needed.
