Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Orlando, FL, working on large-scale projects. This role will focus on the design, analysis, and installation of mechanical systems, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to meet project requirements.

What you'll be doing :
- Design and develop mechanical systems from scratch, including analysis of stress, fatigue, and acceleration forces.
- Conduct material stress design and load calculations.
- Perform system integration and installation, with thorough documentation of configuration and operation.
- Develop and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
- Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create detailed mechanical drawings and assemblies.
- Analyze system design for risk and hazard mitigation.
- Ensure safety compliance, particularly related to amusement ride systems and ASTM standards.
- Serve as technical lead on projects and manage smaller project teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements :
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical system design, stress analysis, and AutoCAD / SolidWorks.
- Strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
- Experience with amusement ride safety standards (ASTM standards).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office environments.
- Ability to travel up to 35%.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and manage project deadlines.
