Job Summary : This position installs, tests, and maintains A / V and technology systems in learning spaces, and provides assistance and technical support for learning space technology.
This position coordinates with other learning technologies staff to conduct needs assessments for technology systems across the college in keeping with the College's technology standards and at the direction of the Director, Learning Technologies.
This position also provides additional media and technology support for Learning Commons and College events, including equipment setup, testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and teardown, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications :
HS Diploma
Two years of experience in AV equipment installation & support
Licensing Requirements : Valid Driver's License
Hiring Range : $38,070 - $47,588
Job Specific Task List :
Installs, maintains, tests, and troubleshoots learning space technology systems, including input sources, output devices, switchers, scalers, and / or other associated hardware and applicable software;
monitors classroom equipment with various system interface / monitoring software; works collaboratively to test new learning space technology options. - (Essential)
Provides "Tier One" support for assigned systems and hardware, and repairs and services AV equipment; combination of hardware and software;
provides support for faculty and staff with A / V controllers, Amplification systems, and projection equipment; provides support, troubleshooting for mobile devices using core AV technologies - (Essential)
Assists with the inventory tracking of campus classroom technology using appropriate inventory management software applications;
contributes to project budgeting estimates by participating in needs assessments and project budgeting estimates - (Essential)
