Eastridge is hiring a Supervisor for the fastest growing supplier in natural and specialty baking and pastry ingredients.

This role includes the overall warehouse floor supervision of the Fulfillment Shift, 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday. For immediate consideration apply today

Responsibilities

• Assign routes to warehouse associates.Provide support and back-up for picking as required.
• Assure that orders are picked accurately and efficiently within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer.

Approximately 75% of workday will be spent in Freezer environment.

• Assure that associates stack product on pallets in accordance with proper selecting procedures (for example, no stacking heavy-on-light, labels facing out, etc.).
• Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to transport product for staging and wrapping.Assure that all pallets are staged in organized fashion for Driver pick-up in the AM.
• Follow sanitation requirements to comply with policy set forth by the Company.
• Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including but not limited to pallet jack.
• Frequently lift product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches; constantly bend and twist while operating a pallet jack, retrieving items from lower shelf areas.

Heavy ladder work required.

Ensure all Freezer aisles are clear of debris, returning pallet jack to charging area, and hook up jack for battery charging.

Clean up any spills and places damaged product in recoup area. Complete any related paperwork.

• Assist Receiving team with stocking and receiving products, rotating products and other receiving responsibilities as required to prepare for picking.
• Assist with interviewing and training of new order selectors.
• Communicate closing issues or concerns to Warehouse Manager at the end of every shift.
• Ensure all trash is removed from facility at end of shift.
• Communicate all facility issues (fans not working, lights not working, blowers leaking, doors not closing properly, ice buildup on floor and surfaces are cleaned up) and let on coming morning shift know if there are any issues that need to be addressed via email that were not addressed prior to end of shift.
• Make sure all employees are finished, accounted for and out of the facility and that all facility locations are shut down, lights off and building is locked up.
• Inspect all trucks in parking lot, make sure lights are off, refers are off and doors are locked.
• Provide backup for invoicing and routing as needed.

Qualifications

• 5 Years of verifiable Warehouse Fulfillment experience.
• Must have dependable night-time availability and flexible schedule requirements.
• Work in cold temperatures as low as -10 below zero.
• Requires completion of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to read and understand the English language.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft office : Excel & Outlook
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and physically challenging environment.
• Must be available to work night shifts.
• Adapt schedule to work alongside the changing demands of the warehouse.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Forklift Certification preferred.
• Electric Pallet Jack Certification preferred.
• Willing to complete pre-employment background check, drug test and lift-test.
