As the support crew member, you will be responsible for lifting, moving, and assembling furniture and fixtures and loading, unloading, and transporting furniture or other large items.
To successfully fulfill this position, you must be able to read work orders, layouts, and event setups while listening to instructions.
Responsibilities include completing assigned work orders in accordance with schedules and deadlines. You must ensure the proper storage of materials and check / record inventories.
Additionally, you will advise your supervisor when emergencies occur, follow all SCAD and OSHA policies, respond to emergencies, and must always be professional.
Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma of GED
One or more months of related experience or training
Ability to pass a motor vehicle report run by SCAD / SCAD’s insurance
Compliance with SCAD driving policy
Preferred Qualifications :
Ability to lift more than 100 pounds
Previous experience with moving, delivery, and logistics
Certificates, licenses, and registrations :
Valid driver's license
Acceptance as SCAD-authorized driver
Must be able to pass DOT medical exam
Travel required : 10 to 20%

Work Hours : The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8 : 30 a.
