TRS Craft Services is immediately seeking a Tool Repair Technician for our client in South Houston / Pasadena, TX area.

Overview

We are seeking a Tool Repair Technician to restore used and damaged tools to proper working order.

Responsibilities :

• Review repair needs of each item to assess the cost effectiveness of the repair.
• Determine parts needs and request parts orders as inventory gets low or specialty items are needed.
• Repair tools to proper working order.
• Perform maintenance testing (after repair) to ensure product is operating at full capacity.
• Maintain compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and global standards.
• Adhere to and support company’s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies.
• Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications- Education, Experience & Skills :

• High School diploma or global equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in construction equipment industry.
• Physically able to hold, repair, and adjust small tools
• Physically able to squat, stoop, bend, climb, lie on back, lift and pull, reach up and out, lift 70 pounds, carry 50 pounds, and use a 10-pound sledge hammer.
• Knowledge of tool craftsmanship and repair techniques, including electrical, air, hydraulics, lifts and gauges.
• Ability to obtain internal forklift license.
• Ability to safely load and unload tools for shipping and repair.

Schedule :

Monday - Friday 8am to 4 : 30pm, may require some overtime as workload dictates.

Pay rate- $25 per hour

Travel - May require some travel for training purposes.
