General Objectives
Advanced Media and Videography will be responsible for all aspects of video marketing, production, and distribution of new media in accordance with NCAA, conference, and University rules and regulations.
The goal and objective of DBU Athletics is to develop Champions for Christ, both on and off the playing surface. The four pillars of the DBU Department of Athletics include academic excellence, athletic success, community engagement, and spiritual development.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Patriot Broadcasting Network, the DBU Sports Information Department, and the DBU Digital Media and Creative Services Department to film, produce, and distribute new media across multiple platforms and outlets.
- Video projects include filming and editing game highlights for all 14 NCAA programs, producing behind-the-scenes and documentary footage, and creating content for social media.
- Develop intro videos, individual player videos, game highlights, etc., to be showcased in-venue.
- Collaborate weekly with the DBU Athletics creative team to create and develop innovative content.
- Perform job duties in accordance with DBU’s vision, mission, and values, and in a way that contributes to the advancement of the Athletics Department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Video Production, graphic design, or a related field.
- Minimum two years of experience with video editing (Premiere, Final Cut) with an emphasis on video production for social platforms.
- Proficiency with Mac systems and Adobe Creative Suite, demonstrated ability in videography, lighting, and audio.
- Preference will be given to those with experience in producing and editing motion graphics.
