CYNWAVE Solutions, LLC is looking for a Small Arms Maintenance Supervisor at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia. This role involves overseeing the maintenance, repair, and inspection of small arms and associated equipment on a contract.
The role involves managing a team of small arms technicians, ensuring all maintenance tasks are performed in compliance with regulations and safety standards.
The Small Arms Maintenance Supervisor will coordinate and monitor workflow, provide technical guidance, and ensure high-quality maintenance services to support Army readiness.
They will work closely with the Maintenance Manager at the Project Management Office to support our commitment to mission requirements.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Daily activities may include :
- Oversee the maintenance and servicing of small arms, ensuring all procedures comply with regulatory standards.
- Lead and supervise a team of small arms maintenance technicians performing maintenance, repair, inspection, and services for various small arms.
- Ensure that sensitive items are maintained and serviced correctly and efficiently, following all relevant safety protocols, regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Manage the inventory and usage of small arms repair parts, ensuring they align with the Small Arms Repair Parts (SARP) regulatory guidance.
This includes overseeing the ordering, stocking, and tracking of repair parts to support maintenance activities.
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are performed accurately and efficiently, following Technical Manuals (TMs), Technical Bulletins (TBs), and other related publications.
- Conduct quality assurance inspections to verify proper maintenance procedures are followed and that the equipment is fully operational.
- Provide regular reports to management on the status of equipment, maintenance backlog, and personnel performance.
- Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to small arms technicians to enhance their skills and ensure proficiency in maintenance tasks.
- Conduct periodic assessments of team members' performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Coordinate with other maintenance supervisors, supply chain personnel, and government representatives to ensure timely and efficient support.
- Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent; advanced technical training or certifications in small arms maintenance preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in small arms maintenance, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Thorough knowledge of small arms systems, including inspection, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
- Experience with maintenance management systems.
- Strong understanding of regulations, technical manuals, and safety protocols related to small arms maintenance.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Skills and Competencies :
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills, with the ability to build and lead effective teams.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working on government logistics support contracts.
- Certifications in Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies, desired.
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and noise.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), perform repetitive motions, and stand for extended periods
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, kneeling, and walking.
