Clarifi Staffing Solutions is hiring a fulltime Special Education Teacher to serve students in our Supported Education program.
In this role you ll provide specialized instruction while helping students succeed in a rigorous general education curriculum.
Our program offers tailored support through various service models including coteaching with general education teachers in an inclusive classroom setting.
Our organization is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Special Education Teacher to lead a selfcontained classroom designed to support students with diverse learning needs.
The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction develop comprehensive education plans and create a structured and supportive learning environment where students can thrive academically socially and emotionally.
Duties :
- Plan and Implement Classroom Instruction.
- Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Regularly assess and track student progress toward IEP goals.
- Implement positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS) to manage classroom behavior.
- Adapt the general curriculum to meet the individual needs of students in the selfcontained classroom.
- Teach core subjects including literacy math and life skills using specialized strategies to support students academic growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Illinois teaching certification in Special Education.
- Prior experience working with children with special needs is preferred.
- Strong communication organizational and collaboration skills.
