Amentum is currently recruiting for a Logistic Specialist to join our team at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii, to support our Special Operations Command Pacific contract.

Duties Include :
Personnel assigned to the Supply and Transportation branch of the Logistics Directorate shall assist in the day-to-day operations that provide support for USINDOPACOM, USSOCOM, SOCPAC and its subordinate commands.
As the Logistics Specialist, you will conduct the day-to-day performance of assigned requirements and help determine logistical actions with respect to the command mission and applicable guidance and be responsible for the administration of the directorate’s daily operations.
In addition to specific duties, the Logistics Specialist shall be :
- Responsible for coordinating all GOV Fleet Vehicles assigned to SOCPAC to include the issuance to and return by authorized personnel and tracking all maintenance requirements.
- Responsible for tracking all inbound and outbound shipments throughout the AOR.
- Responsible for the coordination and physical movement of shipments to shipping nodes, including but not limited to, DLA Pearl Harbor, 735th AMS(Hickam), FEDEX, DHL.
- Responsible for the procurement process and subsequent issuing of all GSA / SERVMART / Grainger requirements at SOCPAC and its subordinate units.
Required Skills / Qualifications :
- Must have a basic understanding of Military Supply Chain Operations for in-garrison support to include the following Supply disciplines :
- MILSTRIP processing
- MIPR / Funding Document submission / processing
- Basic understanding of FIAR compliances and policies
- Basic understanding of market research / analysis of commercial and government vendors / entities.
- Basic understanding of alternate procurement processes (DLA Troop Support / GSA Advantage / GSA 4PL etc.)
Compensation and Benefits :
HIRING SALARY RANGE : $65,000 - $150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
