Group Employee Benefits Sales Representative - IL, WI, MN
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our client’s Employee Benefits team as a Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for driving expansion and growth in the assigned territory of Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
As part of our client’s financial long-term strategy for Employee Benefits growth, you will be tasked with developing and managing business relationships with brokers and other influential figures in order to expand the distribution of our Employee Benefits products and services.
Your focus will be on building a meaningful pipeline, closing Employee Benefit business, and achieving sales targets. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to conduct sales and product seminars to enhance your market presence.
Responsibilities :
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key brokers
- Build brand visibility in the assigned territory
- Develop and manage a meaningful pipeline
- Close Employee Benefit business
- Generate and guide prospects from initial contact to closure
- Achieve activity and revenue targets
- Conduct sales and product seminars as required
- Manage territory effectively to meet selling objectives
- Utilize market data and sales tools to expand market presence
- Develop and execute a plan to achieve case activity targets
Requirements :
- Established broker relationships with experience in LTD, STD, and Group Life
- Proven track record of achieving sales results in the assigned territory
- Exceptional skill in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate and build strong interpersonal relationships
- Strong strategic planning and execution abilities
- Excellent presentation and consultative selling skills
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for client meetings
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Life and Health license
- Minimum of two to four years of Employment Benefit Sales experience
