This position is responsible fortechnically leading a CAD department of CAD Designers who do mostof their work in AutoCAD Electrical and Autodesk Vault.
Industrialcontrol panel designs are completed using AutoCAD Electrical.Controlled drawings and standards are kept in Autodesk Vault.
Thisposition is responsible for coordinating work for up to ten CADDesigners.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
SupportEngineering in the design and documentation of ElectricalSchematics PI&Ds and panel layouts on projects
Assistin developing and maintaining procedures related to the enforcementof CAD and standards
Assist in analyzing and producingproductivity enhancements and customizations (automated qualitychecks)
Provide technical expertise for the transfer ofCAD data to our Production CNC machine
Assist in traininginternal users on corporate CAD standards new software and upgradesas well as best practices
Provide production andtechnical CAD support for all CAD software
Hold regularCAD meetings to disseminate new information to the CADGroup
Schedule CAD Designer resources to appropriatejobs
Ability to write and speak clearly and communicateeffectively
Ability to work well withothers
Ability to simultaneously handle numeroustasks
QUALIFICATIONS :
EducationTwoyear degree in CAD Technology.
A minimum of 10 yearsexperience using AutoCAD and / or AutoCADElectrical
Experience with UL508A Control Panel design isessential
Servantleadership attitude ispreferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF POSITION Seeing colorperception hearing listening clear speech dexterity in handsdriving ability to travel distances for meetings and projects tomeet deadlines.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT Standard officeenvironment : frequent use of personal computer facsimile and copymachines along with other officeequipment.
