October 2024 SECURITY OFFICERS - OPEN HOUSE : WEDNESDAYS (WALK-IN INTERVIEWS)

Our corporate security staff is responsible for :

• Overseeing building access procedures
• Assisting visitors to the buildings
• Performing security checks, identify suspicious activity and enforce security rules and regulations

Ideal candidates for these positions must have a stable work history in Corporate Security.

Former Law Enforcement / Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.

Compensation & Schedule :

• Pay Rate : $17.45 to $18 per hour
• Schedule : Full-Time & Part-Time Positions; Many Shifts Available

To join our team, you must meet all of the following requirements :

• Possess a valid / current NYS Security Guard License
• Ability to stand and be mobile for long periods of time
• Excellent computer skills a must
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
• Exhibit exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have verifiable prior employment references
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures, and to work in a team-oriented environment

Location : 318 West 39th Street, 8th Floor (between 8th & 9th Avenues), New York, NY

Interview Preparation :

• Experience & Certification : Minimum of 1 year of security experience, Valid New York State Security Guard License Card.
• Dress Code : Business Casual attire (no jeans, sneakers, or t-shirts).
• Required Documents : Resume, Photo Identification, Security Guard License and any unexpired Fire Guard / Fire Life Safety Credentials.
• Job Location : Assignments are in Manhattan, NY, Stamford, CT, or Brooklyn, NY.
• Open House Guarantee : Same-day interview with a member of the Alliance Building Services Security Recruitment team.

PLEASE NOTE THAT CANDIDATES WITH AT LEAST ONE YEAR OF SECURITY EXPERIENCE ARE HIGHLY PREFFERED

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO SHOW THEIR VALID AND UNEXPIRED NEW YORK STATE SECURITY LICENSE CARD AT THE TIME OF INTERVIEW, IF NOT THEY WILL BE TURNED AWAY.

CANDIDATES MUST ALSO BE ABLE TO VERIFY THAT THEY HAVE VALID 8- AND 16-HOUR SECURITY GUARD CERTIFICATIONS.
