HIL - CASE DOCK LABORER

Responsibilities :

Empty cases from the trailers while stacking the empty pallets and then washing the trailer out.

Keep the work area neat and clean at all times during the shift.

Clean the case washers on a daily basis to ensure the proper cleaning of cases being supplied to the plant.

Check and document the case washer temperature.

Check and document cleaning solution concentration at least once per shift according to the Master Sanitation

schedule.

Complete all assigned paperwork.

Qualifications and Experience :

Must be organized and detail-oriented with Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be able to work weekends, holidays, OT and varying shifts (Evenings, nights).

Minimum age : 18

Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.

Certificates / Licenses / Registrations

Must maintain a valid forklift certification issued by the company.

Physical Demand / Working Conditions :

Must be able to stand / walk on your feet constantly during your shift.

Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to constantly pull up to 270 lbs. with a pull rod while walking backward.

Must be able to work outside and be exposed to the outside weather / temperature conditions.

Maintain constant mental focus and constantly be aware of your surroundings.

Must be able to work in both very hot (more than 100 degrees) and very cold (less than 20 degrees below zero)

and in a very wet and humid environment for extended periods of time. Exposed to noise / vibration, and

chemicals.

Required to Stand, walk, climb, bend, twist, push and pull, and reach above and below the shoulder.

Repetition-Hand / Wrist Simple Grasping, Firm grasping.
