Job Details :

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Controls Engineer to join our innovative team. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and implementation of automated manufacturing systems.

You will be working with cutting-edge technologies such as Allen Bradley PLC's, robotics, conveyance systems, and more. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, where you will be challenged and rewarded every day.

Responsibilities :

As a Controls Engineer, you will :

1. Design, develop, and test control systems for automated manufacturing equipment using Allen Bradley PLC's.

2. Program and troubleshoot PLC's and other control systems.

3. Develop and implement control strategies for robotic systems.

4. Work with conveyance systems, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, gather automation requirements, and design control systems that meet these requirements.

6. Provide technical support for manufacturing operations, including troubleshooting and resolving control system issues.

7. Document control system designs and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance control systems and operational efficiency.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role, you will need :

1. A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Controls Engineer, preferably in the technology or manufacturing industry.

3. Extensive experience with Allen Bradley PLC's and PLC programming.

4. Experience with conveyor and conveyance systems.

5. Knowledge of robotics and automation systems.

6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve control system issues.

7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

8. The ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with engineers, technicians, and other professionals.

9. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
