Position : Quality Assistant Manager

Status : Fulltime Exempt

Work Schedule : Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm

Payrate : $ 80-85k

Location : Bloomingdale, GA

As we expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and experienced Quality Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Quality Assistant Manager , you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

You will lead a team of quality control team members, develop and implement quality control processes, be hands on with our interior products and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to) :

• Assist in leading and managing a team of quality team members, with a focus on headliners and interior door trims.
• Support in developing and implementing quality control procedures and standards tailored to headliner and door trim production.
• Assist in conducting regular inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods related to headliners and interior door trims.
• Aid in identifying and addressing quality issues in a timely manner, working closely with production and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with the Quality HOD to analyze data and trends to make recommendations for process improvements in headliner and door trim manufacturing.
• Assist in liaising with suppliers to resolve quality-related issues specific to headliners and interior door trims.
• Participate in training and mentoring quality control team members, providing support in headliner and door trim quality standards.
• Contribute to ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly those relevant to automotive interior components.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate documentation related to quality control processes for headliners and interior door trims.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control.
• Strong knowledge of quality control processes and methodologies.
• Experience with Headliner and Interior Door Trim Parts is required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with quality management systems and tools.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Knowledge of automotive industry-specific regulations or standards.
