About theJob :
They are seeking a highly motivated andpassionate optometrist to help them provide excellent vision careservices to their patients in longterm care facilities.
Some of the responsibilities include :
- perform routine comprehensive exams for glasses andcontacts
- perform dilated exams
- provide diabetic evaluations
- treatment of infection and injury
- Repair and equip patients with eyeglasses
- Proficient in diagnosis and treatment of oculardisease
- Comfortable working with the geriatricpopulation
Requirements
Ideal Candidate will :
- Musthold an OD License
- Must have a validdriver’s license
- Must have her / hisown means of transportation
- Must be willing tomeet with 2125 patients a day
- Must be willingto travel to different nursing facilities
