The Division of Adult Institution is recruiting to fill Corrections Program Supervisor - SUD positions. This position are located at Racine Correctional Institution (Sturtevant, WI)
Position Summary
This position is responsible for the supervision, direction, and instruction of Social Worker and treatment staff of the Substance Use Disorder / Earned Release Program Unit;
maintenance and updating of clinical and administrative procedure. The Corrections Program Supervisor is an administrator who is tasked with the development, implementation and monitoring of overall institution goals, policies and procedures as part of the institution management team and has the ability to respond and perform in the role of the Warden's designee as required.
This position must have clinical certification to supervise Substance Abuse (SUD) Counselors.
Salary Information
This position is in pay schedule / range 81-03 with an annual salary of $54,787 - $90,396 plus excellent benefits. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire.
A probationary period is required.

Job Details

The Department of Corrections may conduct pre-employment drug screens. Any applicant who is offered employment in a position which requires a pre-employment drug screen must pass the screen as a contingency of employment.
The Department of Corrections will conduct criminal background checks on applicants prior to selection. Upon hire, all new DOC employees are subject to fingerprinting.
Remote work is not an option for this position.
Qualifications
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT : This position requires possession of a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) AND one of the following : Clinical Supervisor-In Training, Clinical Supervisor - Intermediate, Independent Clinical Supervisor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker*, or Licensed Professional Counselor* from the Department of Safety and Professional Services.
If possesses an LCSW or an LPC, must have at least two years of experience delivering Substance Use Disorder Treatment or at least two years of experience providing supervision to Substance Use Disorder Treatment providers.
In addition to the special requirements, minimally qualified applicants will have experience or training in the following :
- Planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, and / or directing substance use disorder and / or cognitive based programs in accordance with state and federal policies, statues, and regulations
- Assessing, treatment planning, and counseling clients with Substance Use Disorders
- Performing supervisory or lead worker related activities (e.g. assigning, directing, and / or evaluating work; disciplinary matters, hiring, providing training / mentoring, etc.)
Well-qualified applicants will have additional experience :
- Utilizing evidenced-based practices and / or risk-need-responsivity principle in a clinical or correctional program setting
- Participating in multi-disciplinary teams or approaches to meet an objective
- Developing, evaluating, and / or implementing policies and procedures
