The Regulatory Compliance Manager, Americas (RCM-AM) is responsible for ensuring compliance with chemical control and other product-related regulations and for providing legislative advocacy within the Americas region for allnex products across all business lines.
you'll also be responsible for coordinating PSRA activities with the LRA research and technology, manufacturing and business staff in Americas in order to ensure good product stewardship, global regulatory compliance and development of sustainable technology.

Responsibilities
- Monitor development of chemical-related regulations within the region and develop with the BU and R&D the appropriate plan to mitigate the consequences and to identify the opportunities in terms of new Product / Application developments.
- Develop PSRA processes and systems ensuring compliance with new and existing regulations.
- Prepare and submit notifications or registrations dossiers to the authorities in order to enable the compliant marketing of allnex products in the region.
- Assess and communicate the compliance status of allnex products to internal and external customers.
- Interact with the authorities when needed to support ongoing notifications, for requesting clarifications or in case of inspections.
- Work in cooperation with the Global Hazard Communication (Hazcom) team to ensure that all required Hazcom documents (eg.
MSDS, labels) for products are compliant with current the REGIONAL regulations.
- Determine and propose to the PSRA Director the regional participation into the business teams, trade associations and advocacy groups.
- Manage Product Stewardship Compliance Form submissions through Product Steward Network.
- Coordinate activities for multiple plant products.
- Train business partners on regulatory requirements affecting products to ensure business compliance.
- Manage Product Regulatory Compliance aspect of Management of Change
- Responsible for Product Regulatory Compliance of new products through the AIMS process
Required skills and experience
- 10+ years experience in the Chemical industry. Experience in the coatings / inks industry is a plus.
- 5+ years experience in US and CAN Chemical Regulatory Compliance. Knowledge of FDA or other American or International Chemical Control Laws and Regulations is a plus.
- Fluent English is required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related field is required.
