Cybersecurity Leaders, We Want You!
The Classified Cybersecurity team is seeking a second level (Level 2) Classified Cybersecurity Manager to lead a team of Information Systems Security Professionals (ISSOs / ISSMs) at our Redondo Beach, CA location.
The Cybersecurity Manager will lead a team responsible for the cyber operations of a classified enterprise network. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, agile methodologies, and ITIL frameworks.
Key responsibilities include :
Implement and maintain ITIL practices to manage IT services, including incident management, problem management, change management, and service level management.
Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines to protect the organization's IT infrastructure and data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities.
Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing to identify and address potential threats.
Provide leadership and guidance to the cybersecurity team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to ensure the organization remains protected against emerging threats.
Manage and respond to security incidents, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to minimize impact and ensure timely resolution.
Develop and deliver cybersecurity training and awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices.
Basic Qualifications :
Master’s degree with 7 years of experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 9 years experience; OR Associate’s degree with 11 years of experience;
OR a High School diploma or equivalent and 13 years of experience is required.
Must have a current DoD 8570 IAM Level III security certification (examples : CISM, GSLC, CCISO, CISSP), or have the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire, in order to be considered.
Candidates must have a current DOD Secret security clearance (at a minimum) in order to be considered.
Experience as an Agile Product Owner, or similar role.
Experience with cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
Experience with Agile methodologies and ITIL frameworks.
