We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Consulting Accounting Associate to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your accounting skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Our ideal candidate has a strong background in real estate accounting and is comfortable managing a variety of tasks, including bank and credit card reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and utilizing Yardi PayScan.

Responsibilities

As a Consulting Accounting Associate, your primary responsibilities will include :

1. Performing daily accounting tasks such as bank and credit card reconciliations.

2. Managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and processed in a timely manner.

3. Utilizing Yardi PayScan for invoice processing and payment.

4. Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

5. Collaborating with the consulting team to provide financial insights and recommendations.

6. Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.

7. Participating in special projects and performing ad hoc financial analysis as required.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Consulting Accounting Associate position, the candidate must possess the following :

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate accounting.

3. Proficiency in bank and credit card reconciliations.

4. Experience with Yardi PayScan.

5. Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable.

6. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

10. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
