POSITION OVERVIEW : M SEARCH has been exclusively retained to hire a Senior Director of Total Rewards for a reputable organization with 10,000+ employees in the manufacturing industry in Stillwater, MN.

Reporting to the CHRO, the Senior Director of Total Rewards leads the Total Rewards Center of Excellence. They will be responsible to define the company’s Reward philosophy and strategy, reflective of our commitment to employee well-being and engagement while aligning with our business objectives.

Leading a team of 40+ people, they will be responsible to design and maintain comprehensive programs for base pay, incentive pay, long-term incentive (equity), health and retirement benefits, disability, payroll, and HRIS in accordance with our workforce demographics, organizational policies, labor contracts and governmental regulations.

In addition, alongside the CHRO, they will serve as the liaison with the Compensation Committee and be responsible for the design and management of executive compensation plans that align with company performance and industry standards.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute a holistic total rewards strategy that aligns with the organization's business goals and values.
  • Establish the Total Rewards CoE as the Expert and reference for all things Rewards. Provide thought leadership, education and guidance to HR team and Leadership team.
  • Analyze industry trends, market benchmarks, and best practices to ensure our total rewards programs remain competitive and innovative
  • Lead the design, evaluation, and administration of the organization's compensation programs, including base pay, variable pay, and equity plans
  • Oversee the management and administration of employee benefits programs, including health and wellness benefits, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits
  • Design and optimize the portfolio of rewards processes and practices to be rolled out in the new HRIS system (Workday).

Plays a leading role in the implementation and adoption of Workday with all relevant stakeholders Designated data owner for HR data within our HCM system, Responsible for maintaining a high level of data governance and security for all data.

  • Advocate for pay equity and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives within the organization's total rewards framework
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive analytics and reporting to continuously evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of our rewards programs to ensure they are aligned with our business and talent strategies and market trends;

make recommendations for changes, as appropriate.

  • Remain current on comp and benefits standards methodology, changing legal landscape, access, communicate and address potential impact on business
  • Lead and develop a high-performing total rewards team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.

Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation and excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Master’s Degree in HR, Finance or related field, strongly preferred. A Bachelor’s Degree in a similar field with significant Total Rewards experience considered
  • 15 years+ Total Rewards or Human Resources experience
